Carbon fibre reinforced polymer composites (CFRP) is one of the common materials used in machining by various manufacturing industries. The most persistent challenges during machining, both concerning consistency machined surfaces and properties material, are difficulties such as pull-out, delamination, decomposition material matrix. This preliminary research highlights laser thick CFRP using a more than 1 kW. Laser experiments have been conducted to examine ability machine cut through their high-quality beams.
